At OmniStrada, we work with the c-suite and the management team of Asian businesses to articulate, plan and execute pragmatic and tactical Digital Transformation and OmniChannel strategies; whilst addressing organisational and local market challenges and realities.

 

Growing fast and counting major regional businesses such as YTL Berhard, Royal DSM and V3Group (OSIM, TWG Tea, OniGlolbal/GNC) among its clients, we are seeking Digital Project Managers.

 

Passionate about digital, you will be responsible for scoping and delivering our clients’ digital assets and large-scale omnichannel development projects, working side-by-side with partners, vendors, client and strategy teams, to plan development cycles, allocate resources, mitigate risk, manage scope changes, and define processes. This is a unique project management role that also requires a strong account management orientation and ability to strategically navigate enterprise client organizations.

Your Role:

  • Work with appropriate team resources to drive requirements definition.

  • Scope and document digital assets MVPs, features roadmap and releases cycles.

  • Articulate underlying business logics and data flows.

  • Follow UX and UI industry best practices and SOPs to scope online services and features.

  • Help to ensure cross-functional teams are practicing agile principles for collaboration, prioritization and delivery.

  • Act as interim ecommerce product manager for clients at early stage of digital transformation.

  • Develop actionable project schedules – clearly identifying: key milestones, deliverables, outcomes, dependencies, effort/duration, resources.

  • Maintain project schedules – tracking baseline against actuals, abstract project schedule into more digestible presentation.

  • Communicate project status, team velocity, and release progress to project teams, management and key stakeholders

  • Identify and address cross-project dependencies and risks.

  • Identify and effectively communicate resources and staffing requirements.

  • Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading university or institution preferred.

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience managing digital projects (eg., website/portal, marketing sites, e-commerce, social, mobile, etc.) in a client facing capacity

  • A sound understanding of the digital and omnichannel ecosystem, best practices, and online metrics.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills – must be a self-starter.

  • Good understanding of agile /scrum methodologies is a plus.

  • Capable to manage and work on multiple projects in parallel.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and influence collaborative decision making.

  • Able to work and build relationships with multicultural and cross-functional teams at different levels of an organisation.

  • Team player with strong, resilient personality that will bring new ideas and perspective.

  • Able to take initiative and make things happen with moderate supervision and guidance.
